Celebrate the Japan-America Society of Dallas/Fort Worth's 40th anniversary kickoff at the 10th Annual Mochitsuki New Year's celebration. Activities include a Mochitsuki (Rice Pounding) demonstration, sampling of green tea and mochi (Japanese rice cakes), origami, Kakizome (first calligraphy of the New Year), an Ikebana display and New Year's games for children.
Admission: Members - $5; Non-Members - $8
Children - (Ages 6-12 yrs.) $2; (Ages 5 and under) Free
