Don't forget the unique combination of Texas hospitality and Asian culture that Dallas has to offer.

Not only does Dallas offer state-of-the-art facilities through it's recently renovated and expanded convention center and hotels, but it also provides the opportunity to combine business with a family vacation. Baseball, football, hockey, soccer, and basketball games; the State Fair of Texas; amusement parks; theater; shopping; major concerts; dining, live music and dancing are just some of the many activities of which families, couples and individuals can take advantage during convention breaks or as part of schedules conference activities.

National and regional groups who recently have held their conventions in Dallas include the Asian American Journalists Association and the National Asian Pacific Bar Association (NAPABA).

"One of the reasons that NAPABA selected Dallas as its 2004 convention city is because Dallas is centrally located and reachable from every major city in the U.S. within four hours by air. Dallas is easily accessible to attorneys located on the West and East coasts, and we had a variety of choices in the convention site and extracurricular activities for the attendees. Most important of all, we had a core group of Dallas Asian American Bar Association (DAABA) members who worked very hard and enthusiastically to put together the event, which was and still is the best convention NAPABA ever had."
Wei Wei Jeang
2003 DAABA President that led the effort
to bring the NAPABA convention to Dallas.
