Expanded Schedule Includes Post Rodeo Concerts

Mesquite, Texas (February 15, 2010) - The rodeo is back and better than ever! The world famous Mesquite Championship Rodeo kicks into high gear with an expanded schedule for 2010:
• April 23*, 24* (Rodeos and concerts in conjunction with Real Texas Festival)
• May 21*, 22*, 26 and 27 (11 a.m. matinee rodeos geared toward school groups)
• June 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, 19, 25 and 26*
• July 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, 17*, 23, 24, 30, 31
• August 6, 7*, 13, 14, 20, 21, 27, 28*
• November 26, 27
• December 28, 29

The Mesquite Championship Rodeo exclusively features Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) sanctioned events that include top-ranked contestants, famous livestock featured in the Las Vegas Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (NFR), top rodeo clowns from across the U.S., special guest announcers, along with lasers and pyrotechnics that add up to two hours of non-stop action and rock’n roll with all the events that fans have come to expect at a championship rodeo including: Bull Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Bareback Riding, Cowgirl Barrel Racing, Tie-Down Roping, Steer Wrestling and Team Roping. Also included for the kids are crowd favorite’s Justin Boots Mutton Bustin’, Borden Dash-For-Cash, free face painting, pony rides and a petting zoo.
The rodeo continues to be an affordable family attraction with reserved seat ticket prices in the arena $6 for children (12 and under) and $11 for adults with parking for $5. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. and rodeo events begin at 7:30 p.m. Post rodeo concerts begin at 9:30 p.m. Tickets for the 2010 Mesquite Championship Rodeo season go on sale March 13 and are available online at www.mesquiterodeo.com or www.ticketmaster.com.
Tickets to rodeos with post concerts are: students 21 and under (with valid student ID) $15 in advance for rodeo and concert and $20 at the door for general admission concert-only dirt pass; $20 reserved seat in advance for rodeo and concert and $25 at the door for general admission concert-only dirt pass. Concert-only general admission dirt passes can only be purchased at the door after 9:30 p.m.
Newly renovated luxury open-air suites atop the arena on the third level have been reconfigured to seat 10, 20, 30 and even 80 patrons. Available on a nightly or annual basis, the luxury suites feature plasma screens, all-inclusive food and beverage packages, event programs and VIP parking. Suites can also be used during the day before the Rodeo for meetings or group functions.
Club Membership seat holders will have exclusive access to the new western themed private club called the 8-Second Club. Membership amenities include a club seat located in the preferred first three rows, VIP parking space, private entrance, and all-inclusive dinner buffet with beverages including beer and wine in the exclusive 8-Second Club. The new club features a 25-foot custom bar, a chandelier that depicts all of the championship rodeo events, a stained concrete floor with the Star of Texas stamped in the center of the room and plasma screens with live rodeo action. Other membership benefits include priority seating for non-
rodeo events as well as year-round access to the Eight-Second Club outside of scheduled arena events. Memberships to the most affordable sports and entertainment all-inclusive package in the Dallas Fort-Worth area are available by calling 972-285-8777.
